Mark Evans Band Joins The Monkees Micky Dolenz for Two Shows
Fresh off a year that found the Mark Evans Band gracing concert stages in Philadelphia and New York City, they will be joining music legend Micky Dolenz (Monkees) for two shows, 3:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M., at the Sellersville Theater (Sellersville, PA) on Saturday, February 22, 2020. Tickets are selling fast, don’t be left out in the cold!
2019 was a fun year for the boys. A year that started with a sold out vinyl release show for the album Carousel, on to headlining the Chester County Rock for Recovery Concert (that also featured Richard Bush of the Peace Creeps, Nita Slater, and Brandon Novak), a memorable performance at the International Pop Overthrow Festival in New York City (a show that earned them an invitation to play at Liverpool’s world famous Cavern Club as part IPO 2020), and culminated with opening for Rock and Roll of Famer Denny Lane at Philadelphia's City Winery.
Backed by a rhythm section of Philly stalwarts, Roy Fisher (bass), Jeff Pancoast (drums), Grammy winner Pat Robinson (keyboards), and Rick Toy (lead guitar), the band is touring in support of their debut album, Carousel.
With he band currently recording new material, 2020 promises to be every bit as exciting, stay tuned for more!!!

"The album's cover art even depicts the underside of a carousel roof as a record. Inside are pop/rock songs that sound like they could have been released between 1966 and 1973." BRIAN BINGAMAN
