Rock for Recovery Benefit Concert

West Chester University Emily K. Asplundh Concert Hall, 700 S. High Street, West Chester, PA

Rock for Recovery 2019 - Saturday 9/21 Featuring The Mark Evans Band, Richard Bush, Nita Slater, Perry Milou, Brandon Novak… and so much more!!!

If you, a family member, loved one, neighbor, coworker, or even a friend-of-a friend has never fallen victim to the disease of addiction, consider yourself part of a very small minority.

The 2019 Rock for Recovery concert celebrates those who have been through it all and come out on the other side, while remembering those who were not so lucky. The first Chester County Rock for Recovery concert was held in 2017 and raised nearly $4,000.

This year’s Master of Ceremonies is Brandon Novak (of Jackass fame), who will share his story of recovery. Back for their 2nd Recovery concert, The Mark Evans Band performs songs from their new release “Carousel” and other favorites, with special performances by Richard Bush (The A’s, Peace Creeps) and Nita Slater (Beru Revue, Crack the Sky). Renowned American Pop Artist Perry Milou will be on hand for a silent auction featuring a selection of his work, and National American Miss, Miss Pennsylvania Victoria Mullin will be available for photo ops. There will also be food trucks and FREE PARKING!

Tickets are $15/$5 students and can be purchased in advance at ChescoR4R.eventbrite.com. A limited number or tickets will also be available at the door.

Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall @ West Chester University 700 South High Street, West Chester PA Doors open at 5:00 PM, curtain goes up at 6:00 PM.

This is a Fundraiser for The Chester County Overdose Warm Hand-Off program, which ensures that every OD survivor at every ER in the county has the opportunity to be admitted to a residential detox program directly from the ER. Started in 2018, the program has a success rate of over 50%. Warm Hand-Off saves lives, restores families, and is our strongest weapon in the ongoing war to end addiction.
